I've loved every bit of this satire.

I'm not going to explain why I found this funny. Anyone who is familiar with the reference material should understand, as these shorts do a fine job of explaining themselves.

You even submitted on the same DAY. That is hilariously cold.

I would also like to commend Tom Fulp for bravely posting this on the front page. Your plight is heard and felt by the tasteful.

dere ya go

You'll develop

This was short and unoriginal with very crude art, but you're new, it's not going to be perfect...Okay, enough euphemisms, it's almost definitely going to be bad -- very bad. But you've knicked some key elements. The timing was pretty much spot on, and you at least added background and some frame transitions. Keep working at it and you'll come along.

ronaldblue responds:

thanks but what did you mean by unoriginal. i picked ths song because no one else had done it before

Stunningly under-reaching.

Nothing but a collection of bad tweens, tactless art, clip insertions, and stolen audio. If there was humor, I didn't find it. Try frame transitions and original jokes, because otherwise you're just jumbling together a mess of ideas that are void of talent and forming a mass that is a talentless void. Certainly not saying give up, but please try to progress. Though, I could understand wanting to see how it would go over on The Portal just for the heck of it, so I'm not knocking you there.

CatsomStudios responds:

How about you try getting one of your flash movies to score a 3.00?

I usually don't give almost everything a zero...

...but in this case I'm willing to make an exception. This was disgusting. For one, the movie wasn't all that good, just a bunch of audio. That's beside the point. This just SICKENING to me! Take another human-beings life for some sick fetish? That's entirely wrong. I understand this was just a cartoon, but still. It was much too realistic. Sure, it's funny when people "die" in cartoons and movies on this site when it's SUPPOSED to be, but this....was....just....siiiiiickkkk.....*shudders* Such realistic murder is by no means pleasurable or humorous. If you're going to kill a cartoon, then make it funny. Add humour. Don't make it such a serious thing. I'm just glad this wasn't a real guy. No death in real life is funny or pleasurable in such a way not matter how you look at it. Just...please, don't make any more movies like this. I know I can't tell you what to do, but....oh man that was disgusting. You should at least put a disclaimer of some sort. Oh man, just try to refrain from making such things. Please.

SeanSullivan responds:

This was not suppose to be funny. Another thing is that Murder is a very serious crime is not funny at all. For a lot of people out there... it is pleasurable. Thats why it's called a snuff film. Watch "8mm" You'll get it.

Wow. So many quality works this Clock Day.

Alas. I am a supporter of the Clock Crew and I would love to join. However, I'm afraid that I just wouldn't be good enough. I don't believe that I would be able to make quailty Flash such as this. So, here I am on Clock Day supporting my famed Clocks. This is I can do at the moment. Sorry...

Now this was a great submission. The art was great. You portrayed many things as they should be. The animation was no less. You even showed three deminsions by the buttons and d-pad being rotated. Truly a clever idea as well. I love the part with Pube Muppet. Trust me all who read this. That part is worth the whole movie. Not that you won't enjoy it anyway, heh heh. Wow, there's been so many great submissions this Clock Day. It's turned out better than last year even! All of this prove that the Clock Crew LIVES! Well, thanks Handheld. Happy Clock Day ^_^!

HandheldGameClock responds:

Thanks for the nice long reveiw! :)

Great submission, Reporter.

Now, this was quite a nice submission. I didn't really expect the animation to be so smooth. I can tell that the art was done by hand, and that was quite decent. I'd say you cashed in a great chip this Clock Day. It makes me feel good to see so many people supporting Clock Day this year. THE CLOCK CREW IS NOT DEAD! Well, in objection to the last review I read for this, I believe the idea was quite ariginal. Not the funniest, but funny nonetheless. Well, thanks for contributing, ReporterClock. Happy Clock Day ^_^.

ReporterClock responds:

thanks for the great review! you ahve a happy clock day too!

Oh, man. You had me going there for a second.

That great, Boltgun! I hate to spoil things, so I won't say anything about the purpose behind this movie. I can say that the backgrounds and Clocks were drawn very well. And by hand no less. It must've taken forever to do something like that. Plus, the sound was great. The echoes of the rooms once filled with such life. The music added a great effect to everything. Excellent submission. In all ways more than worthy for Clock Day. Thanks, Boltgun.

Boltgun responds:

Thank you.
It took me several hours to draw the backgrounds, well I took more time than needed because I was searching the good method for this, using a (cheap) graphic pad and some perspective. It doesn't take that long once you understood the good way to make it.

Excellent Clock Day submission, Toilet Roll.

Thank you, man. Thank you so very much for providing me with this outstanding piece of humor. It is every inch (or frame as the case may be) worthy of Clock Day. All elements were executed perfectly. First, the graphics were astounding. The art was definetly the best next to that of The Void, and the ANIMATION! THAT was top quality. So much attention to detail. I mean, you even made a side-view for yourself, heh heh. The jokes and plot are what made this an absolute classic. Oh, man. I only wish I were good enough in Flash to produce this kind of quality Flashwork. Maybe I am, but I don't know. I haven't used it in a while. To tell you the truth, the only thing that stopped me was intemadation. Heh. Well, enough about that. Overall, this movie was the best I've seen thus far this Clock Day. Thanks, Toilet_Roll_Clock. Thanks.

ToiletRollClock responds:

Thank you for such a flattering review. The "best next to the void" comment I find a REAL compliment and never expected anyone to think that... Keep working at your flash. Practice makes perfect. :p Happy Clock Day

That was a very good Flash, Nef.

Thanks for that great Flash, Nef. Totally unexpected, heh heh. Well, I hate to give spoilers in reviews, so I wont'. The animation was excellent, and the art was on-par. The sound was of not the most excellent quality, but I'm sure that couldn't have been helped. I would like to point out something. You didn't have the traditional pointers at the top of each Clock when they talked. It's okay though. Only a minor aspect that can be easily overlooked by the movie's overall quality. So, in conclusion, and excellent Clock Day submission. Thanks, Nef.

P. S. ~ I hope that you and GrandFatherClock have great life together. (Just kidding. Heh heh)

nef responds:

Yeah, I never use the pointers anyway, I prefer to make the actual character move as it talks. Thanks though ^^

Also, GrandFatherClock isn't my type. The pocketwatch however.. ;P

A true ClockCrew Classic

Man, I'm not sure how the Clock Crew is so popular, but I love them. It's movies like this that give the Clock Crew a good name. The idea was quite original, but I'm guessing that the sound sync messes up on the HTML version. Nonetheless, it was a great movie and I'd like to see more Clock flicks from you. Thanks, man. You diserved the 5.

TheComet responds:

You really think that?!
Wow, thx!
I have another clock movie in the making I havn't touched in awhile, it's based on MarleyEFuck's SBC's teachin talkin' audio, but it's got the best gfx out of those flicks so far :)
Yes alot of the sync messes up in the html version for computers under 350 mghrtz (mine is 250), but a fast pc should run it well and make the humor more understandable since it actually lines up with the picture, I was going to stream the audio throught that part but it knocks the rest of the movie out of sync O.o

Do not give anything a zero unless it is apparent that the author put no effort into making it or it is utterlly sucky. Thank you. Supporter of the Clock Crew.
